In 2005, Gunnaaz’s began with a single needle, a spool of thread & a dream to create heirlooms that felt timeless, as the memories in them. Over two decades of designing and creating beautiful memories with countless families in India and around the world.
Finding the perfect name for my company wasn’t easy. I didn’t just want something that fit the brand; I wanted something that meant more. Something rooted in love, memory, and legacy.
My mother was a true artist—she was talented and would often sew frocks and tunics for me and my sister. Her creativity lives in the pieces she made & the memories she shaped.
Almost 30 years later, when I had decided to create & design linen for our homes and bedrooms, the last thing on my mind was to create heirlooms for babies. I received the wonderful news of my sister having a baby. The excitement had no bounds, and that’s where the shift took place, without any second thoughts. With the help of my mother, we created her baby trousseau, not knowing if it would be a girl or a boy.
Then my niece was born, and she was named Gunaaz by her parents. The shift in my creativity and creation was instant. The name Gunnaaz’s Timeless Treasures was then brought together.
At Gunnaaz’s, we create one-of-a-kind clothing for your little ones, blending vintage charm with modern flair. Each piece is unique and lovingly handmade from start to finish by myself and my specially-abled artisans.
